The Three Elements

Year 7 starts a new unit today. Three of four elements are going to be in focus; air, water and land. It will be studied with an environmental approach. Check out ne.se that has a lot of good resources. Here’s a film and a couple of articles about land and land+pollution. Two articles about air, air and air+pollution and two about water and water+pollution. To find valuable comparative information about water consumption in different countries, go to Landguiden.

Another resource we strongly recommend is this site from Gothenburg University and Chalmers called Miljöportalen.

An authority here in Gothenburg is Havs- och vattenmyndigheten, and on their website you can find general information on water.

Naturskyddsföreningen has a website worth looking into…
